St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Bonnechere
St John’s Lutheran Church Bonnechere is a rural church that shares pastoral services with Grace Lutheran Eganville and St John’s Lutheran Church Augsburg.
Founded in 1863, Bonnechere is a quiet country church with a membership of mature years and welcome all to join them in worship. They are located on Country Road 30, and the narthex and worship areas are wheelchair accessible.
Some of Bonnechere’s annual special events are the Mother’s Day Brunch and Cemetery Decoration Sunday.
Each year they raise funds to support a Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR) ‘Gift from the Heart’. In past years they have purchasing a well, a water storage and diversion system, and a treadle pump.
Bonnechere supports Lutherlyn Camp & Conference Center and have hosted the Cuddles n’ Hugs Quilters for Cancer.
